William is a managing partner and founder of William C.H. Tan & Associates, a Chartered Accountants firm (WTA).

He obtained his professional qualifications from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 1983. He established his own professional practice in 1989. William also sits on the board of several other private & listed companies.
